Mechelle Chojecki teaches Vinyasa Yoga (RYT) in Saratoga Springs, NY, where she has worked as a sculptural artist since she relocated from New York City in 2003. Her daily yoga practice fortifies her hands and mind for creating art and her heart for nurturing her dogs, Maple (who passed away in 2017, but remains ever close to her heart), Milo and Fig.

Mechelle began teaching DOGA classes at Canine Camp Getaway in 2015, where her early morning meditations quickly won over both human and canine guests. Since then, her audience of yoginis and doginis has grown by leaps and bounds.

Mechelle cultivates mindfulness, compassion and gratitude through her practice and she strives to share her knowledge with all beings, especially with those whose access to moving meditation may be limited.
